In 1968, without any tests, studies, or evidence, doctors began declaring certain comatose people “brain dead.” This diagnosis has always been controversial, as from its inception, the concept of brain death has lacked a clear basis in fact. In 2023, “Because of the lack of high-quality evidence on the subject […],” the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) actually used a majority vote, not the scientific method, in determining its new brain death diagnosis guideline.
The world-renowned neurologist and one-time supporter of brain death as death, Dr. D. Alan Shewmon, was not invited to cast his vote. He now opposes the brain death dogma on scientific grounds and recently published a paper addressing the fact that the new AAN guideline was written without any debate over the fundamental concept underlying brain death:

Health professionals who challenged the covid narrative were threatened with prison, psychological evaluations and suspension. Many lost their licences to practise for debating potential harms caused by lockdowns, vaccines and masks, although they had rightly raised concerns and exercised their right to free speech.
Health authorities were livid and either ignored or sanctioned those who challenged government diktat. Australia went a step further with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) issuing gagging orders in March 2021. Doctors were to toe the line and instruct all eligible patients to receive the experimental vaccinations, although there was no long-term safety data so no possibility of informed consent or the offer of reassurance. Treating citizens as enemies they used psychological manipulation ‘psyops’ to ensure the population complied.

You have announced your intention not to stand for election as the Member of Parliament for Spelthorne at the next General Election. You have represented me and my fellow constituents in the Mother of Parliaments since 2010.
I wonder what you are most proud of during your time as Member of Parliament, as Energy Secretary and (briefly) as Chancellor of the Exchequer? I vaguely recall that you had a hand in promoting the use of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) – a rare burst of sanity in a field that is mostly dominated by non-scientific green lunatics.
Despite my somewhat flippant tone, I am genuinely interested to learn what you believe is your proudest political legacy.
But your time as a Member of Parliament is not over. There is still the opportunity to render some greater service to your constituents. And, since you are voluntarily giving up the attempt to climb higher up the greasy pole of politics, now is the very best time to show your true character. You have no need to fawn over or defer to others in politics, since you are not seeking preferment to any great office of state. Free and independent, you can speak your mind and can intercede on behalf of your constituents.

There are chaotic scenes in Brussels as police officers attempt to shut down the National Conservatism conference as Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman speak at the event. The Telegraph has more.
They arrived to issue a notice to close the National Conservatism summit after a municipal mayor ordered the event be shut down on security grounds.
Emir Kir, the Mayor of Saint Josse, said: “I issued an order from the Mayor to ban the National Conservatism Conference event to guarantee public safety. In Etterbeek, Brussels City and Saint-Josse, the far-Right is not welcome.”
The notice served by the police said the event posed a danger to pedestrians outside the venue, a conference source said. …
Nigel Farage described the attempt to shut down the National Conservatism conference in Brussels as “monstrous”.
He said it had further convinced him that the U.K. leaving the European Union “was the right thing to do”.
Speaking to broadcasters, Mr. Farage said: “We have got the Prime Minister of a country coming, we have got a Roman Catholic bishop coming, we have got representatives of parties at the top of the polls all around Europe in elections.
“This is the sort of complete old communist-style thing. You don’t agree with me, you have got to be banned, you are mad, and to be shut down. It is monstrous.
“I’ll tell you what, it has done me a favour because at times I think oh, I wish the Government had done Brexit a bit better than they have and why haven’t they tightened the borders up.
“But if anything has convinced me that leaving the European Union ideology was the right thing to do it is the events of today.” …
