mysteriousuniversepsychicsThe history of paranormal claims relating to police investigations and missing person reports is one addled with controversy and, at times, confusion. While many believe that to rely on the purported abilities of a psychic intuitive could be potentially misleading, let alone the very height of pseudoscience, some have claimed to have had an uncanny track record with helping solve crimes through seemingly otherworldly means.

In his book The Lonely Sense: Autobiography of a Psychic Detective, British psychic and author Robert Cracknell outlined his assistance with a number of English police investigations over the years, many of which had not seen disclosure of his involvement publicly. At times, some police agencies in the UK and elsewhere have managed to be more open about these sorts of “unconventional” methods of investigation. However, a new memorandum may have outlined things such as the use of ESP in solving crimes as somewhat standard practice; so long as the information gleaned in such circumstances is treated with care by official investigators.

The Telegraph reported on the new guidelines, set forth in an advisory document issued by the College of Policing:
British Group Issues Guide for Using Psychics in Police Investigations

armageddon 230x129The reality for all of us is that we are members of a profoundly dysfunctional human species in very deep trouble, on a planet whose biosphere is dying and/or being killed, mostly by us, individually and collectively. I am sorry to say this, but it does look like a mass mortality event may lie just ahead for very large numbers of humans on this planet. I will have more to say about this below.

I was born in the USSA in 1955 and naturally am still in communication with people from that country. At this point my frank perception is that the vast majority of people in the USSA are in tremendously dangerous denial, about almost everything that is of any substantive consequence to the continued habitability of this planet by the human species, and most other complex, biological life forms.

I have written before about The Bone Lady who visited me in 1958, when I was a sickly little, three year old boy, and who gave me a broad overview of what was coming. For whatever reason, She clued me in to the great dying time that was coming, the time of unimaginable turmoil, death and woe, the time of great suffering and destruction, the unthinkable, inhuman, demonic time of incomprehensible horror.

An Angel in our Midst

I first published this story on my website and then in the book I wrote on my experiences, Dogged Days. Reading it still brings a quivering heart and tears to my eyes, talking about it too. It’s excruciatingly sad but it is also rather wonderful.

An Angel in our Midst

In 1997 I was living in Perth, Western Australia, most of my family were too, but one of my brothers, his wife and 3 beautiful daughters – the youngest are twins – were living in England.

It was December, winter time in England, and kids were sniffing and sneezing with the latest version of the season’s ailments. Tyffany, just 9-years-old, and the eldest, complained of a sore throat, and feeling under the weather – a bit achy. She was taken to see the local doctor who gave her some antibiotics and urged a snug rest at home for a few days. As was expected she got a bit worse during the day. Her mum, dad and little sisters made sure that she was well looked after with whatever she needed, and made her as comfortable as possible. Later in the evening Tyffany went off to bed aiming to feel better in the morning. She loved going to school and playing with her many friends – she had missed them and wondered how they were getting on with the busy Christmas events and other things they were involved in.

Misty

There have been occasions, a very few, when I have journeyed intentionally; not with drugs, I don’t do them. Most times it is something that occurs out-of-the-blue. I don’t know why that is but I do wonder if it is more likely that this experience that I am writing in, is just an otherworld for me. Maybe it is for everyone. Probably is.

The Invisible Friend

This article was originally published on my website, Otherworld Journeys, on 2nd October 2012

When we were young, many of us had invisible friends, for some of us the invisible friends were our best friends. They never lied or betrayed us, were always ready to play and sometimes told us secrets. I remember that I was really bossy with mine!! But were they real? Our parents told us it was just ‘imagination’ and eventually most of us began to believe them. But what is the imagination? Is it the doorway to our real selves, the part of us on the ‘other side’ where we truly belong and where we are whole?

Dreaming of Brad Pitt

To say that these are tough times is something of an understatement. Obviously in the past there have been other recessions but this global meltdown has left millions in a downward spiral of despair. Many people, including myself, have lost jobs, homes and all hope as a result. This is all on a background of worldwide turmoil in the shape of the war(s) on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, a recent war in Libya, an uprising in Egypt and a potential war in Syria. Not withstanding the second level 7 nuclear event in my lifetime in the shape of Fukushima which had a catastrophic meltdown of 3 reactors in March 2011.

In amongst all of this confusion I have continued to have dreams which at times guide me to greater awareness and at times leave me unsettled. One such dream was on 8.7.13 when I dreamt that an aeroplane crashed into an air traffic control tower. The symbolic element of the dream is that of a tower which has many interpretations i.e. Tower of Babel and the association with Mary Magdalene and the word Magdala which means tower. There is also the connotation with the twin towers disaster on 11/9/01. This crash has not happened yet and unfortunately I was not given a location during the dream but this was a ‘trigger’ event for further things to happen.
