Good Vibrations Podcast: The latest serious threat to our rights and freedoms of movement is now facing us in the form of so-called “15-minute cities.” Naturally, these come cloaked in apparent noble intent all in the name of combatting “Climate Change,” (and without any kind of democratic consultation,) but in reality, they’re yet further stepping stones towards New World Order totalitarianism.
Oxford has been chosen as the blueprint for such a scheme, and this will be because of the system-minded mentality this city has long had. Resistance from locals is already very apparent, however, and it seems there will be a whole lot more to come, not least from the day of activism scheduled for 18th February.
Laura Soden represents one of the groups which has been set up to oppose this Draconian over-reach, and to inform others that what is allowed to happen in Oxford today, will be coming to everybody else’s hometown tomorrow … but ONLY if we allow it.

I drew this Medusa years ago when I lived the cliched life of the poor, starving artist, in a drafty London flat.
Life was a struggle. Often, I wore gloves with the fingers cut out while I drew or painted, due to the icy wind blowing in one side of the building and out the other. I would draw and paint late at night while my husband slept. In the morning, he would berate my art, telling me I wasn’t very good, I was a fake, and that the only way I would be successful was if I lied to people that I was good. I didn’t understand. Surely my work spoke for itself.

THE wheels are well and truly coming off the government’s campaign to make us all buy electric cars (EVs).
The latest setback came when the start-up Britishvolt collapsed into administration last month.The company planned to build a giant factory to manufacture electric car batteries in Blyth, Northumberland. However it was unable to raise the finance even to start construction.
The main reason for this failure is the uncertainty surrounding the EV market. Despite the announced ban on sales of new petrol/diesel cars from 2030, sales of electric plug-ins still account for only 16 per cent of sales in the UK. Many of these are company cars, bought purely for the tax advantages bestowed. Most private drivers are still highly reluctant to buy an EV, which can easily cost £15,000 more than a conventional model, and which is pretty much useless for anything other than around-town use. The government’s target for half of all new car sales to be electric by 2025 is pie in the sky.

Over the last three years my TV viewing has become increasingly limited. In June 2020, I politely informed the BBC that I wouldn’t be watching or listening any further to their output and cancelled my direct debit. In November 2022, I cancelled my Netflix subscription because of what I regarded as a personal data breach.
