One morning in ’63’, we woke up, opened the front door and a wall of snow, blocking everything, greeted us. The street, all of Britain, was cocooned in snow, this deep for what seemed like forever…but what fun! We dug our ways out, helped the neighbours to do the same; threw snowballs (you weren’t arrested for it, back then), slid, sledged, often with Tim as the sled dog. We had proper winters and proper summers back then. Nobody whined and whinged about climate change tosh.

1963 and 1976, when weather really was weather
It’ll probably be a very harsh one this winter – I’ve noticed perishing winters follow hot summers. Prepare for it.
Now you know why they have privatised everything, prevented people having coal and log fires, why the energy prices have gone cosmic and are soon to leave the galaxy. Why people are being beguiled into renewable (insecure, unreliable) energy.
They want rid of us. Don’t wake up to this blatant truth too late, for the sake of this earth, our companions on it, and our loved ones.

I remarked here, a while back, about the mountain of discarded facemasks piled up outside the local hospital, that had obviously been there for a long time. Next time I went, they were gone. A new heap soon began. Seems you can’t go anywhere without seeing these things, sometimes next to dog poo bags hanging in bushes. These arses in totally useless m-arse-ks care so much about other people’s health and the environment, don’t they. Most of these drop-kicks will probably be gone soon. Mind the door don’t hit you in the arse on the way out.
