Luke May, Mail online: Police have launched a probe into a care home which was ordered to close after 15 residents died following a major outbreak of coronavirus.
Temple Court in Kettering, Northamptonshire, was forced to shut its doors following the Covid-19 related deaths of patients who were sent there after being discharged from hospital.
The home is now being investigated by police and council bosses. Officers are speaking to relatives of the 15 residents following claims they were sent there without being tested after being released from two separate hospitals.

After a long hiatus due to computing device problems, a very lengthy CoVid-19 quarantine and Internet access issues, I am finally back to blogging again.
I see nothing to counter my view that we are now entering into the Event Horizon, a crazy, chaotic, world-changing-time after which nothing will ever be the same again. That could ultimately turn out to be very good; or that could turn out to be very bad. We’ll find out as we go along. In any event, this year is the boundary year for that process. We are crossing the Event Horizon boundary at the present time — and how!

Dr Vernon Coleman MB ChB DSc FRSA: I won’t see 30 again, unless it has a one in front of it, and, as a result, I am, I have to say, definitely feeling unwanted, superfluous and generally surplus to requirements.
My government and the health service clearly regard me as a nuisance, though the former is happy to send me income tax demands and to accept my cheques and the latter is doubtless ever ready to blush daintily if I should be overcome with the desire to enliven my Thursday evenings with a little light clapping or saucepan banging – though to be honest even if I had been inclined to follow this most curious custom I would have felt a little foolish since we have no neighbours and I fear the rabbits in our garden would have been a trifle startled if I had lost my mind, stood on the doorstep and tapped a wooden spoon the bottom of an ancient saucepan.
Some of the young do not seem too concerned about the way their elders have been treated in recent months. A few, indeed, have actually cheered as folk in their 70s, 80s, 90s and more have been ignored, pushed aside and subjected to the biggest mass murder in the so-called civilised world since the Second World War.
