Technological advancements in archaeology in recent decades have produced amazing insights into the lives of ancient peoples. These range from uncovering lost Mayan cites in Guatemala to identifying Neandertal-Denisovan offspring to recovering early Native American DNA.

Discoveries continue to reveal unexpected details about our shared human past. But the new information also brings new responsibilities and concerns about the political, ethical and social dimensions of archaeological research and heritage management. This is especially true for Indigenous peoples for whom heritage is about more than objects of scientific study or items to preserve in museum displays.

Illegal loggers and militias cleared an area three times the size of Gibraltar in Brazil’s Amazon this year, threatening an “uncontacted” indigenous tribe, activists said on Tuesday.

Satellite imagery collected by Instituto Socioambiental (ISA), a Brazilian advocacy group, detected about 4,600 acres (1,863 hectares) of deforestation this year in the Ituna Itata indigenous land in northern Para state.

With all the electromagnetic fields from just about everything that makes modern life “modern,” we humans, who basically are electrical-chemical beings, are impacted in numerous ways, especially our DNA.

Catherine Austin Fitts joins Greg Hunter to discuss the latest financial trends, resulting from “reverse Globalization” and the re-patriation of capital and assets to the US, which has resulted in the “submerged emerging markets.” Many such countries are really feeling the pain, with rising unemployment and greatly devalued currencies, Russia’s having dropped 18% since January and Venezuela’s dropping by 99.9%.

Fitts says it’s not just US Federal policies to bring back capital and manufacturing that are causing this but also automation and AI that are impacting developing markets by altering what the US needs from those markets, from natural resources to outsourcing.

I have been house-sitting for a friend whilst he has been on holiday. A lot has happened since he left on 2nd September.

Regular readers will be aware that although this site makes brief sorties into the world of espionage and the New World Order conspiracies its main focus is upon investigating crimes that appear to have an occult connection. The difficulty is that what is occurring in the world is so interlinked that it is impossible to confine one’s search to just this one area.

I was too cowed to run this video, let alone to watch it until now but the getting to the truth is more important than anything, especially now.

He says he realizes that a lot of what he says here goes against the grain of what he’s said in the past and he doesn’t insist on this scenario. “I’m trying to bring us closer to the truth. I have worked with people who are expert in nuclear weapons, in flight, to develop the scenario and what I’ve told you today is an extremely condensed version.”

Sailing near the remote Scottish island of St Kilda, Laughlan McKinnon sighted a strange bird napping on a rocky sea stack. It didn’t resemble most other birds he’d seen near these waters. It wasn’t a gull or a puffin. Plump and tuxedoed, it stood 3 feet tall and had comedically short 6-inch wings.

Today, a casual observer could be forgiven for confusing the bird, a great auk, for a penguin. The black-and-white creature was clumsy on land but a torpedo in the sea. It feasted on fish and had a low, croaking scream. It was flightless, monogamous, and nested in some of the world’s iciest, and most rugged, territory. In fact, the auk lent its name to modern penguins: Its scientific name was Pinguinus impennis. When early explorers discovered flightless birds in the southern hemisphere, they called the creatures penguins because of their resemblance to the great auk. (The birds, however, are biologically unrelated.)

Until recently, there was no topic that was more taboo than that of child sex abuse but over the past 2 years, it’s become more publicly discussed, with the mass-arrests of thousands of child pornographers and with the reports of several thousands of abused children in Catholic dioceses around the world.

Over the course of the 8-year investigation leading up to the trial, several important witnesses – and a judge – were “suicided,” while other justice officials were spuriously fired. The courts were hostile towards the witnesses, with charges of perjury brought against those who refused to recant their stories.

The local police had gone to absurd lengths to keep the details of the case secret and Belgian Federal investigators withheld proof of the claims of the witnesses, especially the names and visual evidence relating to the high-profile members of the alleged child abuse ring.

Although the botched investigation brought over 300,000 people to march in the streets and general strikes by several unions, including the firefighters, who turned their hoses on the courthouse, the failure of justice caused many Belgians to become resigned that details of the case would never be known. The files of the case remain sealed, the presiding judge having asserted that he saw “no reason to reopen them.”

We are in the mists of an impinging comet swarm whose associated fragments can hit Earth. The peak danger time is about 3-9 October from 2017 – 2025. If comet fragments are ‘rounding the Sun’ they are about 20 day away from reaching a distance equal to about Earth’s orbit. Additionally. they have just passed perihelion and have been heated by the Sun, so they are outgassing and may become very visible to telescopes pointed at or near the Sun (usually looking for sunspots). This happened in early October 2017 and these fragments started the New Hampshire and Northern California wild fires.

This book comes just at the right time. The debate about the possible connections between the folkloric representations of faeries abducting children and modern alien abductions has reached the point where there seems to be a divide between writers who have been highlighting the connection for decades, and (mostly) folklorists who have been reacting against the proposition, with the view that the phenomena are not related. Likewise, there are UFOlogists who do not want to engage with the possibility that alien intervention into consensus reality has anything to do with the amorphous storytelling about folkloric faeries. The deep, dark and far-reaching ramifications of inter-world interferences and predation on the bodies and consciousnesses of humans and other life forms native to this realm ensure that allowance and consideration of them, let alone properly funded investigations are cast into forbidden territory…but it’s real, it has always been real…and it has no chance of being stopped until humans grow up, get wise, and front up to it.

Faeries and aliens are not the same, even through there are numerous similarities in their behaviour and their apparent interest and dealings with us…but you have to have had your own contacts with both to comprehend the difference. I have, in the past, related one fundamental difference; the often vivid natural air of the Fae encounters and the somewhat ozone-y or partially (sometimes a lot more) disconnected, suppressive-compressive-oppressive technological/scientific sterility of that with the Alien. The intentions of both, individually, in groups, and collectively, are as varied as any human beings’ and there’s a lot more to be said but that will do for now.

I do wonder if the author, Joshua Cutchin, has managed to speak with any experiencers of both. This is not to say that there are not bleed-throughs of alien into Fae realms as well. Aliens, with self-serving intentions do attempt to infiltrate and parasite on Fae modes – and do succeed on occasions. I’ll have to save up for the book to find out, I suppose. It certainly sounds like a well-cool and very worthwhile inclusion to one’s library. – Ellis

On the evening of 11th October 1973, 19-year-old Calvin Parker was fishing with a friend on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when lights appeared in the sky. Three creatures with “leathery grey skin and crab-like claws” grabbed hold of the two men and pulled them aboard their spacecraft. Calvin shares what happened next.
